Older youth between 12 and 14 will use CAD to design/build a larger robot and code it using basic Java. ![]() Tweens between 8 and 11 years will build a Lego Mindstorms robot and code it using scratch along with other coding activities. The program runs from August 7 through August 11 from 8am to 12pm at the 4-H Training Center at 556 Middleline Road in Ballston Spa. This program is for those interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics or boys and girls who just want to have a great time with their peers. STEM CAMP: Hosted by the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County. Preference may be given to but not limited to applicants from Saratoga County and those with special interest in farming and pursuing an agricultural degree. Criteria will include a demonstrated interest in agriculture, satisfactory completion of at least one year of an accredited New York State College, character, leadership, and service. Selection will be made by a committee appointed by the President of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County Board of Directors.
